Mobile Drills Upgraded by DFI to Handle Any Job.
|
Large Mobile Fleet
DFI offers a fleet of mobile air drilling units, auger drilling rigs, and frost Pre-Drilling attachments for RGZ cranes, and can handle all drilling conditions. Clients can be confident knowing DFI will provide the correct unit for the job. Mobile Air DrillsDFI mobile air drilling units use high pressure air compressors to blow material out of the excavated hole. Depending on the soil conditions, a hammer bit, tri-cone, or chevron/drag bit may be used. Air drilling units can produce holes up to 24 inches in diameter, and as deep as 90 feet. These machines are tracked, maneuverable, and light weight making hauling to site and access to work areas easy. Auger DrillsDFI auger rigs can excavate up to 72 inch diameter holes to a depth of up to 50 feet, and are ideal for use on prepared leases for cast-in-place pile applications. These truck mounted drills are light weight, portable, and can quickly drill holes in compact clay soil. Frost Pre-DrillingAll DFI RGZ cranes can implement hydraulic auger attachments and can drill holes to a depth of 7 feet in soil that without frost would normally be routine driving. For helical pile installations where frost is encountered, an auger attachment can be used to excavate the hole first. Using the same machine for Pre-Drilling and installing piles leads to tremendous savings-of both time and money. |
