Finding a crane that could tackle the severe conditions of the Canadian oil patch, and have the versatility to fit the role of crane and piledriver proved impossible. So DFI built one. Purpose Built By DFIWell built, durable RGZ cranes and pickers have proven to be the best multipurpose machines in the piledriving industry. These units are designed to withstand the most rigorous treatment, and the harshest environmental conditions. Manufactured at the Edmonton facility, DFI offers RGZ cranes and pickers with boom lengths of 66 feet, 75 feet, and 80 feet, and lift ratings from 24 to 40 tons. Strong and reliable, RGZ units have exceptional lift capabilities and reputations to match. Tracks or TiresGetting to the lift site is easy-RGZ pickers are built on rugged tandem steer, tri-drive chassis and can navigate rough, off highway conditions. These adaptable machines can lift 35 tons, and haul 45,000 pounds. For extreme site conditions, DFI offers a fleet of RGZ tracked cranes with up to 40 ton lift capacities. These units are perfect for soft or uneven leases, and can be hauled without special permits. Whatever the job, DFI has the crane. One Crane Does it AllDFI designed, engineered, and manufactured RGZ cranes and pickers with versatility in mind. An RGZ picker can haul piledriving leads & hammer (or a helical pile drivehead-or both), a skid steer, and 28,000 pounds of piling material to site. Once the piles are installed, the same machine can lift pump jacks, tanks, or buildings into place. DFI 35 ton tri-drive RGZ pickers are ideal for haul and set jobs. All DFI built cranes and pickers use 2 lifting lines-essential for self rigging high loads. DFI offers certified man baskets, certified spreader bars (up to 30 feet), and RGZ units carry a full complement of slings and rigging. DFI cranes and pickers are inspected daily, follow a stringent maintenance program, and undergo regular certification. |
