Meet Project Demands
Foundation projects come in all sizes, with unique requirements. DFI will assess geotechnical data and structural needs, develop a load testing program, and provide drawings for any sized project. The DFI civil engineering team has the knowledge, experience, and equipment to design and verify both driven and helical piles, or a foundation that includes a combination of the two.
Verify Design
During driven pile installation, DFI can conduct pile load testing following ASTM D4945-12 Dynamic Testing Standards to confirm the pile capacity. This process uses piezoresistive or piezoelectric accelerometers, strain transducers, and a PAX model data logger and is monitored by an engineer in real time, on site as the pile is driven. DFI can also Static Load Test projects following ASTM D1143-07 (Static Axial Compressive Test), ASTM D3689-07 (Static Axial Tensile Load Test), and ASTM D3966-07 (Static Lateral Load Testing) standards with equipment producing in excess of 3400 kilo-newtons of force.
Peace of Mind
The DFI Foundation Engineering Team will design, manage the installation, load test, review pile reports, and provide as-built drawings for any sized project. With capacities verified, customers can be confident the installed foundation will perform to project specifications.
